Winter Play & Learn

Parents and children currently in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten are invited to an exploration of all things Winter at McLean School’s Falls Road Campus. Each activity will be supported by a McLean faculty member and promises to be both fun and educational. 

❄️ Embark on a letter/sound snowflake scavenger hunt
❄️ Read aloud and sequence a special winter story 
❄️ Make your own snow in our STEM Room
❄️ Play a snowflake math and balance game
❄️ Practice writing in ‘snow’
❄️ Make some special winter music together
❄️ Create a snow day art collage 
❄️ Experience a mindful snowman breathing exercise and move your body to winter yoga
❄️ Discover how McLean tailors education for our youngest Mustangs—focusing on “can” rather than “cannot.”

Winter Play and Learn Days are held at our Falls Road Campus located at 11810 Falls Road, Potomac, MD 20854 on the following dates:

• Sunday, December 8 - 1:00-2:30 pm
• Saturday, January 25 - 9:00-10:30 am
• Saturday, February 22 - 9:00-10:30 am
